VidBiz
VidBiz is a regular video blog about the world of online video but the underlying question to be asked each episode is “What does this mean for business?”
Without this one simple question it’s hard to understand why you should really invest time and effort into the world of online video. If it means nothing for business then apart from entertainment its hard to reason why. Im not suggesting that every video has to make you direct money, not at all, but what I am suggesting is that through online video your business must be better. Through using YouTube, or Vimeo, or any other online tool your business must be able to improve one metric of your business or else why use it.
VidBiz is about educating people, business people and those interested in business about the value of online video as well as explaining some of the technical aspects of the medium. From time to time there will be technical announcements about codec’s or platforms or SEO tools and these wont mean much, VidBiz changes all that by breaking down the latest news and information in a format that’s easy to understand and will always ask the question, What does this mean for business?
